Still drying and not on the car yet... Also waiting on a set of locking black lugs :-)

wow!!! they look great I was thinking of going the same route in order to see if I like the black wheels look. (how hard is it to paint them with plastidip?)

It is incredibly easy!

I did many (5-6) light coats. With about 15 minutes between each one.

Total of 6 cans for the 4 wheels.

A lot of subie and vw guys ue plasti dip to protect the wheels from salt and I guess its pretty durable only thing is GAS litterly melts the stuff off

I'm not too worried about durability at this time. I was more focused on a combination of cheap, easy to apply, easy to remove if I don't like it, and no destructive prep work...

I won't be using these for offroading, for that I will be using the Sahara 18s that I bedlined....

wow, that looks great! so clean. lots of taping off involved? valve stem, around the tire, etc?

Not nearly as much as you would think. Just a quick wrap around the valve stem with a 2" piece of tape, and I used 3x5 index cards around the edge of the rim. Took 30 second per tire and does a great job of blocking overspray.
