To all that have used the audio control lc6 From the rear factory amp. I was wondering if you needed a equalizer as well or if the signal coming out sounds good enough? I am installing component front speakers and a sub. I have tried to install a normal cheap line out converter from the rear door speakers but they are not full frequency. Every speaker I have tried to tap into is not full. Also is there a speaker that gets full frequency from the stock amp, or can u steal the signal from the back of the head unit as a full frequency signal? I just don't wanna drop the $ for a lc6 if I can get the signal another way.

I'm guessing that my original post did not make enough sense. I would like to use a lc6 to tap into the stock amp. The main question is which speakers did u use from the stock amp to connect to which channel on the lc6?

I have looked at the wiring diagrams and have tried tapping into different speakers from the stock amp. None of them have a full frequency so I guess I need the summing capability from the lc6. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would test the speaker outputs behind the receiver. If you still have crossovered outputs, then match the correct frequencies with the inputs on the LC6 so that your highs go to the amps driving tweets, mids to mids and bass to subs. Going off the source is the easiest way to wire because all the wires are in one place and generally the frequency caps and crossovers are built into the amps or speakers which are further down the line.
