I'm using a wiring harness I bought from www.theretrofitsource.com and tested it last night for each headlamp. The LH lamp has three connections, one for the low-beam, one to trigger the bi-xenon solenoid for high beam, and the ground. The RH lamp has several more connections - I've found the ground and power for the low-beam, but i still have to locate the power for the solenoid.
I'm still working on how to use the bi-xenon part of the lamp and integrate it with the wiring harness I will use. I'll try to get some pictures of everything I'm using. I realize that most people will have to open up the ports on the headlamps themselves, but it should help give an idea of what to look for.

Jeep thing do you mind sharing the pin location or the wire colors on the RH headlight housing?

Nice mod there! Wiring will not be an issue, a couple of hours and it will be done. The only thing (and i dont know if it has it) is the electric regulator.
There are some cars where you have the control 0,1,2,3 and others (specially xenon) where they aim auto every time you start the car. If that so, thats the biggest problem you have my friend, some cases it as simple as changing your oem to the new headlights.

The WK2 grand cherokee does do a function test when you turn on the lights, however we are not concerned with that feature for now.
the motors have the capability for manual adustment so that is how we will aim them.
it would be too tedious to try to create a harness that uses two inputs from sensors located on the front and rear axle.

I have seen some motors with 3 wires (manual) and 4-5 wires (automatic), and not always they are the same motors. Im not talking about creating a harness, in fact thats very difficult or almost imposible, im talking about the chance to loose the electric regulation.

Re: adding OEM HID's to 2011+ Grand Cherokee/Durango
Sorry for lack of pictures. I figured out which pins are the ground & power for the RH side. The LH side is much easier.
RH | S=Solenoid for bi-xenon high beam, P = Power for ballast/bulb, G = Ground
xxxSxx
xPxGxx
The Ground is a black wire with green stripe, the power is a white wire with a light brown stripe, and the solenoid wire is white with a grey stripe.
Now, for the LH side:
The top pin is the Power, the middle pin is for the solenoid, and the bottom pin is the ground.
Power - White with a blue stripe
Solenoid - White with a green stripe
Ground - Black with a greenish-gray stripe.
Please note that the colors are of the wires that I clipped from the OEM wiring harness for the connectors that attach to each headlamp assembly. I'm not sure if they will be the same colors on the inside. Hope this helps.

Re: adding OEM HID's to 2011+ Grand Cherokee/Durango
I'll try to get some pics up soon. I haven't finished my adapters for the low beam and how to integrate my high beams to trigger the bi xenon solenoid.

I ordered the SRT8 HIDs for $980 only to find out it wasn't even close to plug and play. Has anyone successfully been able to make them work without significant work on the.harnesses?
