Bad AC noise ?
I tried searching this but couldn't find anything. So when I turn my Ac on there is a high pitch squeal that happens for a little bit then usually stops. I heard this could be my clutch going out or some kind barring. If any one else had seen this what was your problem

Re: Bad AC noise ?
probably your belt slipping. does it also do it when you stomp on the gas, with the a/c on?

Re: Bad AC noise ?
I didnt see one on here. Any haynes or chiltons manuel will, but its pretty easy. wait till its cooled off, there should be a tensioner pulley that has a spot to put a socket or breaker bar in so you can release the tension, then slip the belt off. there is a picture of the belt routing under the hood so you get it on properly, then pull the tensioner again to get the belt back around it. I dont know if autozone will change belts for you or not, but you could ask.
