I bought mine with 5% over factory tint in back and 20% on front sides. Had a 5% tint strip on windshield, but it came down too far. took off when brought the jeep home. i want to get a 20% small strip at top because windshield comes with no factory tint at top at all. A lot of vehicles come with some type of factory strip.

Roll all your windows down and have all the interior lights turned on with both hands on the steering wheel before the cop walks up to your Jeep and you shouldn't get a tint ticket.....well, I don't when I do all that I just mentioned.
Cops like tint too. Most cops are car enthusiast just like we are.

i had 20% front windshield done on my chrysler 300 with two layers of limo tint all around.... i loved it, the window hardly ever fogged up and the glare was cut down to almost nothing... i never once was bugged by cops i would do it to my wk but im trying to stick to the more "legal" side of modding...
i was stopped once by a cop who asked me where i got my hids and if i could get the number for him and how i could see with the front windshield done so darkly, need less to say he got in my car and tested it out...

opening your sunroof helps alot too, if you have one.

Go 40%.
I have 50% but I'm going 40% after I replace my windshield.

50% looks dark sometimes.
Not so dark in this picture.
But dark as hell in this one.
But all in all.....people can not see me at all. All they can see is my hand on the steering.
