Superchips, HEMI, wow.

Well I sucked it up and bought the Superchips 3875 from a fellow member on here. Woke up my HEMI like no ones business! And just on the 87 octane. Can't wait to fill up with some 91 and try out that tune.

After installing, I took her out for a spin, punched the gas and scared myself. This is how the HEMI should have felt from the factory!

Anyways, just my 2 cents, will report back when I have more than 10 minutes driving time with it, lol

Re: Superchips, HEMI, wow.

Seems like superchips claims 20hp and 29lbs of torque. Sounds like those claims might be close

There is only one to buy... 3875 is the one for all WKs

I'll have to report back on MPGs and mor specific impressions. I literally loaded up the 87 tune and went to pick up Chinese food, lol.

So far I just loaded preset tune but will try advanced custom modes over the weekend.

Re: Superchips, HEMI, wow.

I recently picked mine up from Kolak on one of the other forums for a great price...very happy with mine...using the 91 tune...shift points are much better...and set the over sized tires up so my speedo is correct.

Re: Superchips, HEMI, wow.

Update:

First drive in to work. Still peppy as ever but mileage is down by 1-2 MPGs in 87 tuned mode. Will test out the mileage option tomorrow and I also have a big road trip coming up ~800 miles to test the mileage one too. Next tank of gas will be 91 octance for the corresponding tune.
