Alright guys, I just got finished lifting my 05 WK and heres the build im running:
RC 2" lift
265/70/17's bf goodrich all terrains
17 x 9 mickey thompson sidebiters with 4.5" of backspacing
1.5" spidertrax wheel spacers

I thought i did my homework and did not expect any rubbing. but when im at full lock my tires rub like crazy on my pinch welds... I cut the plastic and beat the hell out of it with a ball peen on the drivers side and got it bent back pretty good but It was not very efficient and is now just ugly. Can i heat up the plastic, flatten it out and melt it back on? Whats the best way to bend these pinch welds? Also will i rub more if i take the spacers off and will bending these welds void any warranties?

If you heat the heck out of the plastic and use a piece of wood to push and hold it back,it will stay that way when it cools.
