Where the **** is AZC Module C2 12 way white connector?

Hi all you experts,

I've been trying to find this connector so that I can can disconnect it and measure the PCI Bus voltage at the Data Link connector with it disconnected. According to the manual it is a white 12 way connector that I would expect to be sitting next to a similar 16 way (C1) connector.

The manual isn't very helpful as it only says "Left Side of HVAC Housing" together with the unhelpful comment "N/S" meaning "not shown".

I think I now have more bits of Jeep in my garage than are on the Jeep, and I still haven't found it.

Does "Left side...." etc apply whether the vehicle is LH or RH drive (mine is RH).

I'm damned if I can find it.

Re: Where the **** is AZC Module C2 12 way white connector?

As far as i know, the AZC controller is part of the AC control panel.
When you look in the wiring page 8W-42-5, you can see that the rear window defogger sense signal is coming from the AZC module (and the switch is on the AC panel, so the module should be there) and there is also a panel lamp driver signal going to the AZC module, so the module has lamps. So i think that you have a good change that you will find the 12 way connector at the back of the AC control panel.

Thanks Frank, I'll have a look at that tomorrow.

Hi Frank,

Had a look and no, they're not behind the AZC control panel.

Does anybody have any idea where these connectors are hidden on a RHD JGC?

Please!!

Re: Where the **** is AZC Module C2 12 way white connector?

Hi Tony, but the AZC module should be an integral part of the control panel. Is there no connector on the panel?

Yes there are Frank, but they are not the 16 way or 12 way Control Module connectors referred to in "Connector Pinouts" as AZC Module C1 and C2 respectively. Where did you find the info on testing the Bus voltages? I might be able to find something there.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but for 10 minutes of your time it may help.
It is step No.37

Hi Tony, don't know if you are still looking for the C1 and C2 connectors, the attached drawing shows them both at the position of the AC control panel.
