I put these up over on the other forum, but seeing as though there are quite a few guys down here in SoCal that I haven't met yet, this might spawn some local wheeling interest!
So a couple of weeks ago I made my way into the San Diego section of JF to try and meet up with local Jeepers and hit some trails. I found out they were getting together for a trip out to Pancake Rock. I had heard about it some, but never been there. It was supposed to be a moderate trail which is perfect for me and the WKs limited abilities to flex. So out we went! We met up yesterday morning a 0800 to try and beat the heat with no avail. By the time we get to the staging area it was already 86 out which turned into 102 by the time we were finished at 1245. Despite the heat I had a great time! We had a good turn out with 9 Jeeps total. For the exception of myself everyone was in a YJ or TJ. Ok enough of this... here are the pix!!!
Who says I need some expensive lift. Look at that IFS flex!!!
Here is a little video of me deciding I needed to take the hard way up! It is hard to tell, but this is a very steep climb up to the top of Pancake Rock.
