Can Forged Wheels be Repaired?

Can forged wheels be fixed? I'm thinking one of my rear wheels may be bent or cracked, because it loses air constantly. With the old tires, with the new tires, doesn't matter. Put in 37psi, in a few days it'll be at 33 or lower. And we all know how overpriced the Alcoas are, so I'd rather not replace it if possible.

Re: Can Forged Wheels be Repaired?

My neighbor has a bmw 7 series with forged wheels... He cracked it, and then took it to a machine shop and they rewelded it.

The crack was on the inside of the rim, and you have to look for it to see it, but he says it fixed the leakyness...

And his was leaking a lot... i mean like fill it to 35 and it would be flat in a couple of hours

X2 this happened right after I bought my Wife's 06 SRT last Christmas
2 tires had slow leaks , and one would go flat overnight. It turned out to be the TPMS leaking. Had the seals replaces, and have not lost air since.
