Do the door buttons on a WK unscrew ? bought a kit of billet buttons and trim rings but cant get old buttons off!! Are they just very tight or secured differently?

Do you mean the plastic knobs that move up/down on the top side of the door panel? If so, they screw right off, but they are pretty tight. It's like a wood screw thread that has cut it's own threads on the inside of the knob. I took mine off and swapped them around after my dog chewed on the passenger front knob.
