I have looked at several modified front grills and am thinking of modifiing the Chrome front grille on my 2007 Ltd.
I have seensome other custom grilles made using the Diamond pattern woven stainless wire as used on Jaguar/Bentley's.
I think this would look very good with the Chrome surround on a Silver WK.
Has anyone done this before?

If you're worried that you may screw up, or you want your stock inlay in case you don't end up liking the look of the grille you make, I have an inlay that already has the slats cut out if you'd like to buy it. Just PM me. This way you won't have to chop up your current inlay and be SOL if you don't end up liking it.
