Re: powdercoating wheels

Hey, I know a guy who powdercoats in CrestHill Illinois, its about 45 minutes outside of the city of Chicago.

He does a lot of stuff for me, non car related, but whenever I go to his shop, he always has car rims and car frames in the oven.

He will probably do a set of rims for 300-400, including media blasting, and your choice in black finish

Re: powdercoating wheels

Sweet good to hear... He does a lot of my bmx stuff. And probably loves me because the Bike club I belong to takes all their stuff to him.

He gave me a little tour of his shop, its defiantely very nice.

I actually had my bike spray matte black, and it turned out really nice

Re: powdercoating wheels

ran into some issues with sandblasting off the chrome, it was flaking off because apparently most chrome wheels dont have a very good chrome job, finally got it straightened out, go back to the powdercoater tomorrow, I'll post a couple of the blasted pics before they get coated. bye bye chrome
