Alright, so I am all ready to order a 2012 Limited and while going down through the options list at the dealer, whatever system he is logged into shows the trailer towing package greyed out and he is unable to select it. He says they can "add a hitch to it" when it comes in, but of course, the package (at least for the 2011's) includes the rear load-leveling suspension, full size spare tire and the integrated wire harness -- it's not just a hitch!

I can't believe it simply isn't available anymore. Does anyone here know what the situation is?

The trailer tow package is notorious for going in and out of restriction (parts out of stock). If you are willing to be patient, it may be available in a week, month... Sometime... Your dealer should be able to get more info.

Otherwise is there another option selected that conflicts, although I don't know of one off hand.

You could also try another model, like the overland, you may be forced to go there near term.... I had to go there to get QD, even though it was suppose to be available in other models.

are you ordering a V6 or the HEMI?

I ordered my limited V6 in July with the trailer tow group.

In my case though, the system wouldn't let me order unless i added the 730N and 20" wheels

I'm trying to order a HEMI with 20" wheels, luxury group, ACC, rear DVD and no radio upgrade, although, earlier I did have the 730N specified before changing my mind back to the standard 430N. Either way, the trailer tow group was not selectable.
