does "eco" = MDS?

Just curious if the Eco light means MDS is engaged ..... wondering if it signifies anything meaningful before i turn it off.

Re: does "eco" = MDS?

I am almost positive that they are the same thing...

Re: does "eco" = MDS?

Assuming we're talking about the V8, then the short answer is "yes":

Long answer: Although the ECO light doesn't DIRECTLY indicate that the MDS is activated, it lights using the same criteria that activate the MDS, so it INDIRECTLY indicates it.

Also, turning it off doesn't disable anything mechanically. It simply stops the light from displaying on the evic.

Oh, yeah. I knew that

That light is just annoying, if it always indicates when MDS is doing it's thing, that semi-cool. If it just means you're driving in an economic way, meh.

As above, however, its one in the same anyway.
