My car came with a ashtray that went in the cup holder. It was just removed by me and never used.

What's the dimensions? The front cupholders on the WK2 are 3-3/8" and 3-1/4" diameter, and both are 3-3/8" deep. They each have three spring loaded wings inside for smaller cups.
