U1411 Trouble Code Help

Little background, 3.7 V6, 300 amp alt, 66k miles and jet chip. Also the CEL is on solid. I would like to see if any one else has any ideas?

Re: U1411 Trouble Code Help

Implausible Fuel Volume Signal Received

Possible Causes

CAN B OPEN OR SHORTED

CLUSTER MODULE

FRONT CONTROL MODULE

PCM

Theory of Operation

The Front Control Module isn't receiving a fuel volume signal over CAN B from the Cluster Module. The FCM has to send the PCM a fuel volume signal over CAN C. The signal the FCM sends over CAN C is implausible.

No other codes were thrown according to autozone's scanner.

Well now after letting the WK sit after coming home from work & autozone. I made a trip for some fast food and the CEL is gone. IDK WTF to make of this!

Thanks for the insight so far, Rob and Scott.

Re: U1411 Trouble Code Help

There are some starcases on U1411 reguarding Junction block failure, either internal or external causes (inspection of connectors for contamination, water intrusion...) Ultimately without it being a constant problem this could be REALLY tough to narrow down the concern. A common suggestion for repair amungst the star cases was the junction block... NOT SAYING THATS IT

Also suggested in one of the cases as Scott suggested, proper (or improper) installation of the remote start (mopar kit) It didnt really specify what a common improper installation that would cause this is, it just mentioned it.
