Amazing how you guys are able to push that baby turbo 15% over it's absolute limit.
I know it's a diesel lol, I have a 300C & GC with the same engine. I am upgrading my turbo to the 2260 from the 265HP version from the newer mercedes engine. Almost plug & play. now that's a turbo, ball bearing water cooled.
Nice car

I emptied the resonator, cat & DPF, hardly any difference, I am now taking off the exhaust and will try to straight pipe...
After the tune It goes like hell but still sounds like heaven
If you have someone with an OBD programmer I can give you a mild tune (250HP) with EGR delete & DPF regenerate you can switch off by simply unplugging the MAF if the CEL doesn't bother you...
Will give you much better fuel consumption to !!!

Re: Grand Cherokee CRD performance thread
Yea, I would really like to know what software the tune guys are using for our jeeps. Is it the same software that the other tunners use (Subi, Honda, Mazda, etc)?
I'm really thinking about the inmotion tune but I have a bad swirl motor, and would liket a tune what would delete it. I heard that GDE recently added swirl motor deleter to thier tune. I am willing to pay for a tune but i would like to modify it down the road.
Does anyone know of any websites or forums the tunners use where I could gather more information?

Re: Grand Cherokee CRD performance thread
GDE is the only one that u can get rid of the swirl motor codes
also i think its the cheapest at $750...could be wrong tho
custom spooling has the DPF delete but its about $1000 i think, but GDE is apparently gonna come out with a DPF delete
InMotion i havent heard much about lately, not sure on the price but i hear its good for performance
