The tow package on mine came without a ball mount. The receiver comes attached to the vehicle.

Re: Wk2 hemi oil change

I'd find a new dealer. I don't have my service done at the same dealer from which I purchased the vehicle. I didn't even take advantage of their one free oil change given to me at purchase.

Re: Wk2 hemi oil change

Mine has always read 3/4 area as 7 quarts. I wouldn't suggest adding extra oil as over filling can harm the engine.

Re: Suspension noises galone in Off Road 2

Mine does it as well. I embarrassed myself on a speed bump once when it was new. OR1 works better around town for speed bumps. Sport mode is rough, but fun.:)

My 2011 Laredo X can do it. Push the unlock button twice and hold.

Re: 18 and 17 " tires together

Make sure your 17's have enough clearance for your brakes. Just because one model may have 17's, doesn't mean yours can because the possibility of heavy duty brakes. Sometimes they will use the same...

Re: Horrible, I mean really bad, mpg on my hemi

Didn't have time to read other posts, but your numbers sound about right. Didn't get much better with my 3.7 liter Liberty. 9 normal in city, 10.5 if you take it easy with my 2011 5.7 HEMI. 18-19...

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

In cold weather your heated seats and steering wheel will turn on as will your ventilated seats in warm weather. You can also leave the HVAC system set as you wish.

Re: 2014 5.7 Throttle Lag

Re: '12 & '13 Owners - Class action suit against Jeep

The only change, other than colors, between the 2011 and 2012's is the six speed transmission. The 2012's weren't rushed to market. They introduced the 2011 early screwing the 2010 owners the way you...

Re: Laredo X Guys - HD brake upgrade from STD?

They have the same towing, but 300 lbs less cargo/passenger payload weight. The pads are the same but the calipers and rotors are different on HD allowing better cooling and braking distance.

Re: 17 inch Rims For 2011 Hemi Overland?

Thanks. Good to know. Always learning. I searched hard for my setup and thought there was a mistake from the factory when I saw the 17's, until I saw the invoice that said "18 inch wheel delete".

Re: I feel a little safer in my WK now

The driver was and will always be injured from this accident. A side airbag wouldn't have made a difference in this case. Racing seat belts and a head restraint would have helped.

Re: I feel a little safer in my WK now

You can make the horn honk if you want. You can set your options in the EVIC center display. I leave mine off and use lights blinking only.
