Re: It's Baaack....Rough Downshifting V6 Transmission

My '14 Ram 3.6 does not have Eco mode, the 3.6's in the Rams don't have it thankfully, but it will rev to 4 - 5000 rpm and 80 mph or more on even the slightest grade, if left to its own devices,...

Re: Driver Mirror green color?

That's part of the mirror's auto dimming feature. It's visible like that under many daytime lighting conditions.

I've always laughed at these threads. On one had sure it should remember what it was set to last time. On the other hand to me the switch shouldn't even be there, there should be eco mode for...

Re: Economy Mode button, hate the default?!

This isn't really a reasonable response. They NEED eco mode for getting the MPG up. To prevent consumers from getting upset, they have to provide a way to override that, hence the button. If you know...

Yes, the ability to set eco off as default is only MY15 but there is a TSB out on it as apparently it isn't always accepting your setting.

I always keep mine off. I've had all the updates and it shifts perfectly in Eco but I notice the acceleration is not as quick when it's engaged. There also seems to be a slight lag when you hit the...

Re: Economy Mode button, hate the default?!

With the last Transmission update (Dec-2013-ish if I recall)
I barely notice the difference with Eco On or Off on the 3.6L.
Mostly on the highway on how much it resists wanting to goto into 8th....

Re: Class action lawsuit against Chrysler

Add to that the fact that class action lawsuits can drag out for years. Most people will have cut their losses and will be well into another vehicle or two before that happens.

Class action lawsuit against Chrysler

I think its time some serious legal action needs to be taken against Chrysler in regards to the bad 8 speed transmissions. They know they have a bad product and the band aid TSB's are not working.

Re: 2014 fuel door not flush and not sealing

Re: 2014 fuel door not flush and not sealing

I'd say the real reason is to make "Female Friendly". No need to dirty hands trying to twist off the cap.

I've only filled mine twice now but found I need to turn the nozzle to the side to make it...

Re: 2014 fuel door not flush and not sealing

Self sealing fule caps or capless fule caps
Are made for stupid people, lazy people who can't undoo the cap and remeber to replace after buying fuel.

Either plain lazy or just stupid.

Re: White Plasti Dip Mirror Covers on 2014 Limited

So much better than the chrome mirror caps. Those are the most offensive chrome portions of the Jeep, IMO.

Re: Hatch chrome Jeep decal Plasti-Dip

Just tape a little closer than your rectangle in the original picture. Do several light coats. Very light in the beginning. Let it dry 15+ min between coats.
