Re: High Mileage WK2s

My 2011 V6 WK2 is up to 133,000 kms (82,600 miles). So far problems have been minor and most were fixed under warranty in the first 18 months. Other than wear items like tires, the only other...

Re: Reliability/Problems for 2011 Owners

I have a 2011 built in Nov. 2010 with V6. Now at 91,000 kms (about 56,000 miles). Very good reliability so far. No QuadraLift or engine/drivetrain problems at all. One rear shock had a minor oil...

Re: usb question

My experience: USB stick works in the 430N port, but not in my armrest console. The armrest port works fine for iPod.

Re: Defrosting frozen windshield fluid

Fill any space in the reservoir with warm isopropyl alcohol (i.e. to warm room temperature only; that stuff is flammable so don't mess with it!) and find a heated public garage to park in a few...

Any possibility of Canadian prices yet? (They would all be 4x4 of course).

Re: Wiper Heaters?

The front wipers SHOULD have heating wiring (or at least they should temporarily park higher onto the part of the glass heated by the interior defroster when on Intermittent mode). I once had mine...

I second the motion, John. Same boat: 2 years as of Dec 2 and almost 80,000 kms now. Biggest pain was some iPod syncing issue long ago that took three short visits to track down a poor connection...

Pano roof, almost exactly 2 years and 79,000 kms. Almost always have the shutter wide open. Not one issue ever with noise or operation, and no leaks.

Re: Fuel usage

Since you asked in metric:
Over the lifetime of my 2011 V6 (about 79,000 kms), I have an overall average of 12.6 L/100km from date of purchase, which is of course a mix of everything from city to...

Re: WeatherTech's out, Husky Liners in!

The front mats are not symmetrical, so I doubt they would fit a RHD. No idea if they make a RHD set, but here is their US website, so you could check with Husky:

Re: WeatherTech's out, Husky Liners in!

To me the eBay picture does not look like the specific WeatherBeater for the WK2 Grand Cherokee. Notice the top edge of both front liners is not the same shape as in the photos of Post #19.

Another way to spiff up the door sill guards it to go to the illuminated 'Jeep' setup. Not difficult to do if you are comfortable doing some basic electrical work.

Are the Husky Liners softer rubber than the WeatherTechs?
And do they grip well to the carpet, or can they still spin around the clips?

Re: 2013 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I recall back in mid-May 2010, several dealers...

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee XenonDepot complete bulb replacement

So you've used the Neutron LED bulb (Putco 287431W – 7443 White) for the DRL replacement. Turns out I have the same blade-type base on my 2011 GC, so as far as I can tell the 360 degree...

Re: Michelin LTX AT2

The LTX AT2s are good tires, all things being equal.

I almost bought a set, but found I couldn't forgive Michelin for the Latitudes (worst Michelins I've ever owned in three decades).
