nope, no wj has painted mirrors. You can take them off and get them painted though. How much do you think that would cost at a body shop?

That right there is very sexy. What kind of black lugs did you get? Also, what style are they called, I'm looking to change my lugs in the future and I notice there are different choices like acorn, mag etc. Actually looking for locks too.

Thanks for sharing.

i used the black lugs that they sell at factory reproductions. He threw them in for free because I said someone told me they threw them in for free for them on this forum. They normally charge 29.00 for them though if you want to buy them. Robpp also recommended these to me if I didnt get the ones from factory. http://www.ezaccessory.com/BulgeAcor..._p/1704sbk.htm

As for the locking lugs. Every single place, even mcGard was out of stock on the black locking lug part num 24038. I called mcGard and they said they would charge me 15 more bucks for them than other sellers like summit racing and even they mcgard didnt have them in stock and had to order them in. Well summit is out of them and cant ship them until dec 7th so i found out amazon can order them for like 22 bucks. So I just ordered them from amazon but I will not get them for a couple weeks because they have to order them because they dont have them in stock, etc. In other words its been a hassle with getting this part.

If I ever buy reps, I'm saying this now LMAO. Question, with the thickness of the tire, is it even possible to curb the rim? (I mean I know it is but it seems like it wouldn't happen as much as I thought).

yes you are probably safer with 275 45 20 tire as far as curbing your rim. Its the perfect tire for these rims on a grand cherokee. No I didnt get a discount, I didnt even mention the forum I just said my friend ordered them and they threw them in for free for him and he was hmmm, ok il throw them in. You would be hard pressed for them to give you a discount on the rims themselves. They are pretty firm with their price as far as the rims that are selling good.

The discount would only be 20 bucks, I'd take the lugs over that.

I planned on saying I was a part of a forum (SJ which I was but I hate) since they were a vendor there. But I thought they were a vendor here, didn't they register here? Anyway, the discount literally takes off about 20 bucks from when I last contacted them. But like I said I'd take the black lugs over the discount since they were offering those for 30 bucks.

Also, how is the turning radius with the new wheels? It seems like there would be some slight rubbing?

the tire touches the front rubber wall behind the front bumper hardley at a full turn of the wheel. It will touch on the left side on a full turn to the right and on the right side on a full turn to the left. You dont feel it touch and dont really hear it either. We did a test fit first and it just slightly makes contact at those angles. You can move and manoveur the rubber wall if u want but its literaly like if you push the wall a little with your hand its not touching anymore.

Great choice (okay, maybe I'm biased ), the black rims really look great on your Jeep!

Color-coded mirrors would really finish it off too! I have a pair of chrome covers on mine and they don't fit that great to be honest, I'd recommend get actual cases sprayed for the best result.

WOWOWOW!! Those wheels looks amazing. They look like black chrome in some pix where the light hits them the right way.

No WJ's ever came with painted mirrors. Dunno why. They should have at least done it on Limited's and Overland's. I painted my mirrors to match myself. Sanded the textured plastic, used a high build primer/filler, got some paint mixed and put into and rattle can for me, and then cleared them. They turned out pretty nicely for a rattle can job. One day I might have them resprayed by my body shop. Some pix for ya:
