could you post some more details since I have been waiting for website to get set up. What was price, delivery time, copy of instructions if still have them. Thanks in advance
Pull off front bumper
2 10mm screws, 5 twist offs, 2 pop offs, 4 cutoffs. Pull it out
Front Grill
2 10mm screws and pull out
Take the grill and cut out your existing black plastic from the inside. Mount your new grill with 4 screws on the top and 4 screws and new brackets on the bottom.
Replace main grill and 2 screws.
Mount new lower grill into position and use mounting plates to attach to base tabs of grill. Tighten.
Reattach bumper and take pics
I could scan and post the instructions, but they original isn't the clearest by the time they copy it. It is good enough, but won't stand the test of time with another scan.
Delivery time was 2 weeks to my door. Took them a day or so to make it, couple days at chromer, and few days to my door.
As for the cost, not sure if they want me saying on here. I gave David over there the link, and he has been talking about become a member. I am sure he will pop on here and give some prices. That is his gig, not mine
I just ordered a chrome one of these via phone, and they said I should get it in about 2 weeks. Hope it will look as good as Flyflip420's on my blue wk2
I sent an email first, but after not hearing anything for a few days, I just gave them a call. They are still working on getting their site up and running. Nonetheless, their number is on their site. http://ablazegrilles.com/
In these pics I had the putco ion spark in both the headlights and fogs. They looked great, but it wasn't bright enough. I recently installed a plug n play HID system and am in love
What HID setup is plug and play? Most threads I have seen on here have an extensive install. I am looking to match my fogs and drls and was going to buy LEDs but now I'm not sure due to your experience. Suggestions? Also love that grille and hope mine will look as good
That was why I stopped looking at HID....I thought it was going to be a pjta to install. These were simple! Just plugged them in and mounted the ballast. Took no more than ten minutes! I didn't get them from xenon depot....but I think they have some. Pm me if you want to know where I got the,. With the not being a forum sponsor, I don't want to cross that line....I did buy the putxos from xenon depot, and am a bit disappointed they didn't tell me they had plug n play his as I even said the only reason I didn't do hid was due to the complexity of the install.....
Don't mind the spelling...my dog died in my arms tonight and I'm on my tablet......so I really don't feel like spellchexking and this thing obviously isn't as 'smart as they say
