Default my silver 04 gc

hey guys i have an 04 with the 4.7L, non-HO. here are some pics from the winter.

i have 4300k HIDs in the headlights and fogs, replaced the orange bulbs in the front with LEDs, its debadged and has 20% tints on the front in these pics.

and me havin some fun in the snow.

since these pics i've done the K&N intake, the black plastic one, not the chrome one, and i've taken the roof rack off. i'll get some pics when the weather clears up here.

next plans are a programmer, exhaust, and rims. if you guys have any other ideas for performance let me know!

Thanks for the pics Baron...they look good....04 Special Edition it is...

Performance stuff after exhaust and a tuner is when you start to spend more money...so it all depends on how much you want to spend?

What kinda wheels are you thinking about?

That power comes at a high price tho....H.O cams are super rare, and pricey, and the mainfold ain't cheap either...then you have to think about the labor if you're not doing it yourself....

Ok....$300 for the cams...once they come off back order....and $200 for the intake...then $500+ for the install if not done by yourself....

Damn...I wish the performance cams were that kinda money....I'd buy some in heart beat...its too bad they are $700...

I'm just saying it gets pricey after that 3 basic performance mods...exhaust, intake, and tuner...lol!

yeah dreamer has a point lol. i'm only 19 and i did the intake by myself but i can't weld so i'm probably going to have meineke do the exhaust when i get it.

i also don't have a job because i go away to college and no one around here is looking for someone that is only working the summer, they all want people who are gonna be around all year.

i'm also thinkin about only going to like 17 or 18 inch rims, i don't want to spend too much money and i don't want to be too flashy, i like being low key, no one around here thinks i'm fast, and when they rev at stop lights, i always seem to surprise people.

Thats cool...what muffler are you think about?

I'm sure there's a pulley out there somewhere....lol...let the search begin..I have thought about one myself too...just haven't looked yet..

Well...as far as rims go...you can get any newer Grand Cherokee, Commander, and the JK Wrangler's wheels to fit on your WJ...there are lotsa options...and on eBay....you can find some nice, low priced wheels and tire packages...sometimes even on here...I sold my 17" Overland Platinum wheels with Toyo Proxes Tires to a member for a really good deal...

Here's the choices you have:

WK Grand Cherokee Wheels:

XK Commander Wheels:

I'm doing Kolak's exhaust. Since my 04 was made later in the year, and I have pre-cats, the exhaust is a 3 inch pipe to a flowmaster 70 i believe to another 3 inch pipe.

And for rims, I think I'm going to go with Dick Cepek's DC-1s in black, I've been diggin em for a while now.
