Here is my rundown of my install of 6K HID lows and fogs. There are other how-to HID threads...but this at the least may give a mounting idea or tip.
Here are some pics of the location I mounted the lows; the Volt slim ballasts (XenonDepot) fit perfectly under the black plastic that is below the headlights on an 08 (could be the same for 05-07 but IDK). I drilled two ground holes, and sanded the paint down a couple times to ensure proper contact:thumbsup: I utilized the same ground for low/fog on each side

Siliconed, primer'd and painted grounds
Here is all of the wiring behind the headlights...I did not make this perfect but everything is tidy and easily deciphered. I have determined this is a basic and necessary skill for electrical work, especially for a novice such as myself If you haven't checked it out, take a look at Matt's stereo install...talk about tidy

Here is where I mounted my fog ballasts...this was the natural location b/c I utilized the same grounds as the lows. 2X tape, mounted underneath the lip on the backside of the frame
passenger fog(left) and low
driver fog(right) and low
Here are pics of mounting locations for volt "module" and fogs

I ran the power wires for the passenger side ballasts (low and fog) underneath the backside of the black metal the hood latch is connected to...zip-tied it along the metal following the cable for the hood latch release and dumped it right in front of the air intake (see first pic). Here is a pic of the battery connection; the four relays provided with the kit are connected together via tech-flex, and the fuses/fuse cases connect together in parallel:thumbsup:
