So I have been researching wheels/tires for my 11' JGC Limited and wanted to see what you guys thought about this option:
Eagle Alloy series 079
18"x8.5"
+35 Offset
go here to see: http://aewheel.com/eagle_alloy_wheels.cfm?id=366

who can tell me if these will work on stock suspension? and if so what would be a nice size tire to combine with the added width of rim and more aggresive stance? All relevant info is appreciated.

Jcnarago in the thread below yours has the same offset in 18x9 XD wheels - check it out. It is a good fit with the stock suspension, and will allow you to use 265/66, 275/65, 285/60 sizes. The 275 is the tallest for best clearance at 32", but the other sizes at 31.5" will be closer to stock gearing and not affect mileage or your speedometer as much. I prefer the wider 285 look myself, but don't offroad much and tow a lot so wanted the shorter tire for gearing.

I almost bought that same exact wheel. I think they will look great. I ended up getting a great deal on KMC XD778 Monsters 18x9 +35 offset with Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs 275/65/18's. Here is what the offset looks like:

I don't think you will run into any issues with the 079's. Please post some pics if you go with them. What finish are you going with??

Nice choice.
Pardon my French but ford is having a great tire sale until the end of November. Buy 4 (they will match the lowest price) and get $100 rebate. My local dealer even matched the lowest internet price. Look at treadepot.com. I saw the 079's on Amazon for a good price.
